Retail density, professional depth
Around the interchange and the two shopping centres you have retail, hospitality and services at high density. Behind that sits a substantial professional layer — medical and dental practices, allied health, tutoring and education providers, accountants, migration agents, real estate and property services — serving Chatswood, Willoughby, Artarmon, Lane Cove and Roseville.
Two things that make Chatswood different
- Language. Chatswood has large Chinese-speaking and Korean-speaking communities. If your practice or business serves customers in those languages, saying so clearly — and having properly translated pages rather than a translate button — is often the difference between two otherwise identical options.
- Comparison behaviour. Customers here research. Prices, practitioner credentials, qualifications, what is included, opening hours and reviews all get compared across several tabs before anyone calls. Vague sites lose that comparison by default.
What the site has to do
Be specific and complete. Publish the service list with real detail, name the practitioners with their qualifications, give price guidance where you can, and make the practical information — hours, parking, distance from the station, which health funds you accept — easy to find on a phone.
If you are in one of the centres, say which one and which level. “Chatswood” alone is not enough when there are two large centres and a busy strip between them.
