How we work

Remote, and honest about it

There is no shopfront, no reception and no Sydney address on this site, because there is no Sydney office. Briefs, concept reviews and revisions happen over calls, email and messages, and the design is shared as a live link you can open on your own phone. Cutting the overhead is why the prices are what they are.

What we will not claim

You will not find invented client counts, borrowed logos, stock-photo “team members”, awards we did not win, review stars in our search snippets or before-and-after traffic graphs from someone else's account. If a number is not on this site, it is because we cannot substantiate it.

Who we are a good fit for

Small and medium businesses that sell a service, compete locally, and need a site that explains and converts — trades, cleaners, pest control, builders, clinics, legal and professional services, and local retail and hospitality.

Who we are not

We do not build custom web applications, complex online stores or membership platforms, and we do not run ongoing ad campaigns. If that is what you need, we will say so early rather than take the work.

Why Sydney

Sydney is the most competitive small business market in Australia, and it is one where a surprising number of good businesses still lose work to competitors with a better website. That gap — between the quality of the business and the quality of its website — is the whole reason for this studio.

We write in Australian English, price in Australian dollars, and build for the way people here actually search: on a phone, locally, in a hurry.

Who is behind WEBSYD?

A small independent studio building websites for Australian businesses. We are deliberately not advertising a team of twenty or an award shelf we do not have.

Do you have a Sydney office?

No, and we will not pretend otherwise. Everything runs remotely. If a face-to-face meeting is essential to how you buy, we are probably not the right fit.

What happens after launch?

You own the files and the accounts. Send changes through and we will quote them; if you would rather manage it yourself, tell us before the build so we can set it up that way.
